This is my Rsi, I was quite impressed with the way the engine works in comparrison to the previous cars I've had and mainly impressed with the way it handles. The engine has quite a lot of low down torque for 1600 and a moderate amount up high in the rev range..The only disapointment is that the car hates excess weight, as soon as you put a few people in it, it becomes a dog. Which is why its good that I only weigh 60kg..Compared to the docha its heaps slower but far more responsive and handles far better. Thinking of dropping the 1800 from the vti-r into it if money allows, and if I win lotto a type-r engine. Though I wouldn't mind a type-r civic engine and gearbox. And it eats a Pulsar Gti :P
The Rsi model is almost identical to the Xsi model except that it is lighter, mainly because it has no power windows, air conditioning, or powersteering and it rev's a little higher. I'm unsure if the brakes are they same or not.
I got this car when it had 135,000k's on it which is heaps for any car, but the previous owner treated it nicely and got it serviced by honda new zealand and kept all the reciepts from that as well.
I haven't really touched the car since I got it apart from removing the cat converter and general servicing things. The car stereo is currently out of action due to the the head unit not being fixed for the past 2 months :(
